Prestigious client based in Leeds City Centre are looking to appoint an experienced Credit Controller on a permanent basis.

The role will involve;

  • Manage both incoming telephone calls to both Internal and External customers, taking and chasing payments
  • Resolve customer queries
  • Release orders
  • Manage credit limits and customer details
  • Make accurate and concise notes on client records
  • Reconcile customer accounts
  • Ensure Exchequer and Sales force are updated in a timely manner
  • The application of payment/credits by using one of the methods BACS; Credit Cards; Cheques
  • Consolidation and allocation of accounts
  • Completion and provision of reports to Sales Team as required
  • Daily reporting via telephone to the Sales Team on problem accounts/collection of monies
  • Assisting with month end duties


  • Previous track record of working to deadlines
  • Experience of working to targets
  • Ability to use MS Office in particular MS Excel
  • To be able to communicate both written and verbally across different levels
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Experience of being able to prioritise
