Chase and Holland are excited to be working with a manufacturing company with a reputation of being an excellent employer. They are actively seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to focus on management accounts, financial accounts and strategic aspects of the business.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts
  • Preparing statutory accounts and tax returns
  • Building and maintaining product costings
  • Leading preparation for stock takes
  • Acting as the first point of contact for any internal finance queries
  • Attending meetings, explaining accruals and prepayment journals
  • Providing analysis reports to budget holders
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Profit and loss analysis
  • Carrying out month and year end procedures
  • Producing financial statements on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Calculating and presenting VAT
  • Ensuring compliance across all finance regulations

Required Skills and Experience:

  • A background of management accounting within the manufacturing industry
  • Experience of product costing across a complex process
  • A CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualification is preferred
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • A friendly and approachable character
  • A positive can-do attitude to their work
