Platinum Financial are currently working alongside an established Legal Firm that are looking for an ambitious, highly motivated Legal Cashier. Due to considerable growth, the company have doubled in team size over the past couple of years and now have a vacancy in their Trafford Park office.

Reporting directly into the Accounts Manager and working alongside a team of six Legal Cashiers the role requires a confident team player who will thrive in a busy, fast paced environment. The position offers support, development and progression and the company actively promote candidates that perform within their position.

The role requires a Legal Cashier that can:

* Process financial transactions through a bespoke accounting system
* Deal with volumes of internal generated cheque requests
* Manage invoices and transaction documents
* Be involved with the daily bank recs
* Provide timely information for the Accounts Manager
* Perform supplier statement reconciliation
* Manage accounts- dealing with queries from outside the department

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience in a similar role in an accounts set up and have a good understanding of the Legal sectors including all SAR standards. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and good attention to detail and can work under pressure- producing accurate output. Being competent in Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel are essential and ideally you will have an understanding of accounting software.
