Support Desk Engineer
This is an exciting opportunity to learn new technologies and progress your career. Seeking applicants who are interested in IT and that have good customer service skills with some 1st line IT support exposure that are happy and willing to learn new skills. Training will be provided for this role.
Administering and handling 1st line support calls from customers
Working with vendors to ensure a speedy resolution of customer issues
Support tickets are administered using a Microsoft Dynamics CRM system.
Administering document register
Creating support certificates which are sent to their customers
Occasional client visits to assist with installs.
Any previous experience of working in a Service Desk, Call Centre, Helpdesk or support environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly customer facing skills including listening skills.
Problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to diffuse potentially confrontational situations and to remain calm and reasonable when dealing with difficult calls
Willingness to learn
Ideally some experience, knowledge or interest in IT
Basic MS Office skills: Microsoft word, excel and PowerPoint.
Understanding of Desktop Operating Systems and/or MS Office Products
Understanding of MS Active Directory User Administration
Ability to work effectively as a member of a team as well as their own and uses own initiative
Ability to follow procedures

Ability to work under pressure
Smart and presentable
Ability and willing to undergo SC security vetting if successful.
