Finance Assistant / Bookkeeper

Location: Lancaster

Salary: Competitive

Our client is a world leader in their field and provide healthcare screen services to the private medical sector. Due to exception growth they are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant / Bookkeeper to take responsibility for managing the day-to-day accounts of all their subsidiaries across the world. This is a fantastic opportunity for an accomplished Accounts person with strong book keeping skills to join an award winning and rapidly expanding organisation.

Specific duties of the position will include (but not limited to):

·Bank Reconciliations, purchase ledger and sales ledger

·Generating month end statements and sending to partners to strict deadlines

·Reviewing and collecting certain card payments

·Manage the financial relationships with key suppliers

The ideal person will have:

·Excellent Knowledge of Sage 50

·Experience of bank and balance sheet reconciliations

·Experience of working to tight month end deadlines

·Experience of dealing with multi currencies

·Excellent attention to detail

·Excellent IT skills e.g. word, excel, internet

·Excellent command of written and spoken English and an excellent telephone manner

·Ability to get stuff done

·Enthusiasm about new challenges

Previous experience of financial reporting and KPI management would be desirable as would the ability to produce financial statements.
