Role: 3 Month contract



A highly skilled Desktop Engineer and front-line specialist is required to support the service delivery, configuration and maintenance of a Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Office 365 environment to 6,500+ users - Based in Norwich.

Strong hands on experience of undertaking a Desktop Engineer support role covering Windows operating system administration including awareness of migration support issues are essential for this role. The person will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to guide the users on issues affecting new working practice.

The person will have proven skills and experience of Software, hardware, system delivery and application management and deployment.

Key Responsibilities and skills:

Technologies: Windows Server, Windows 7, Windows 8.1, OneDrive, Office 365, Active Directory, SCCM, Anti-virus, Software, Hardware, Outlook, Exchange,
  • Can deal with all issues relating to OneDrive, Outlook 365, Active Directory, Windows Operating systems.
  • Will have knowledge of service desk practices - Can meet SLA targets within an ITIL environment.
  • Will have previous experience relating to Desktop Engineer support in similar roles.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and fault finding skills.
  • Excellent customer service behaviours - Via telephone and via email.
  • IT related qualifications an advantage but not essential with proven experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience within similar functions
