Mechanical & Electrical Engineer Kier Workplace Services is looking to recruit a Mechanical & Electrical Engineer to work with a prestigious client whose portfolio is based throughout London. The successful post-holder will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive works and minor installation works on all electrical, mechanical and HVAC associated equipment. We have two shift patterns available covering either Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm Or Monday to Friday, 1pm - 10pm. Key Responsibilities: * General fault finding and rectification to mechanical, electrical and HVAC plant * Maintain up to date records of all work carried out on plant and equipment within the site manuals both hard copy files and electronic * Maintain effective working relationships with colleague's, clients, customers and work as part of a team * Deal courteously with clients, customers and the general public to maintain and enhance the reputation of Kier * Continually demonstrate an understanding and commitment to customer care * Ensure clear communication with customers, line management and office support staff Key Skills and Qualifications: * Previous experience in an electrical maintenance environment * Completion of a recognised electrical apprenticeship, or other evidence based formal training - Such as HM forces * Holder of a Full UK Drivers Licence * 17th Edition qualified * Electrical trade qualifications (C&G/NVQ) for electrical installation or maintenance of electrical installations * Electrical Testing and Inspection C&G 2391 or C&G 2394- Desirable * Portable Appliance Testing qualified - Desirable * IOSH managing safely - Desirable * Working knowledge and understanding of mechanical installations such as heating and cooling systems * Ability to follow technical drawings and plans * Good practical skills * Good problem-solving skills * Careful and well-ordered approach to work * Good understanding of safety issues and legal regulations * Good communicator, verbally and written * IT Literacy Please note the successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check Make the journey.
