Our exclusive client, a well-known company based in Chorley, are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join their established and long standing team. For this role you will need to be very experienced in credit control because though you are working within a team of 3 people, it is an autonomous role where you will have total control of your own ledger.

Responsibilities include:

  • Credit control by telephone, letter and email
  • Daily bank reconciliations
  • Manual calculation of invoices and credit notes
  • Managing and processing daily direct debit collections
  • Raising bills for customers and dealing with any billing queries
  • Implementing and monitoring payment plans where necessary
  • Liaising with solicitors and bailiffs if needed
  • This is a varied role where you will deal with the billing for your customers, allocating their payments right through to chasing overdue accounts and therefore to be considered for this role you must be from a strong Credit Control/Sales ledger background. You must also be able to build relationships as you will be dealing with the same customers each week/month and you must have an organised approach to your work.
