Tradewind are working exclusively with a Catholic school in Rochdale to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 teacher to join their hardworking and friendly staff. Their current Yr6 teacher has resigned and as such, this will be an open position come September. There are currently two teachers in the class, working together to their individual strengths to ensure a rounded and engaging curriculum. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in Yr6 without the sole pressure and stress ordinarily involved. As one of two teachers, there will always be support and guidance on hand. The Headteacher is fantastic; she is caring, considerate and has an open-door policy. She expects hard work, dedication and success but is willing to invest in the relationship to ensure that happens. The ideal candidate will be an excellent practitioner with experience of KS2 (Yr6 ideally) but the school are willing to consider NQTs and can support Induction if required. Evidence of making progress within your previous role would be fantastic or in the case of an NQT, excellent observations and references. However, a teacher with the enthusiasm, commitment and vision to deliver a varied and creative curriculum is the priority. The candidate will be paid per their experience and will benefit from a supportive SLT. You will be welcomed into the school as a permanent member of staff with the opportunity to win a permanent contract at the end of the year should all go well.
