IT Support Analyst / Service Desk Technician Runcorn, Cheshire£25,000 - £30,000 per annumOur client is currently looking for a self-motivated and organised problem solver to join them in the role of IT Support Analyst.
In this role you will provide support and maintenance to both, users, and the business IT systems in general. Working as part of a larger support team, your responsibilities will include, dealing with queries from users, customers and stakeholders, and also liaising with suppliers and service providers. In addition, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of IT related hardware and software where required. There will also be regular project work and opportunities to specialize in specific areas of support whilst developing within the team.
To be successful in this role you must be educated to at least HND level (or equivalent) in IT or a related subject and have experience supporting a MS Windows environment, AD administration, MS Exchange, networks and printing. Knowledge of UNIX systems is also highly desirable. Ideally you will hold an ITIL V3 Foundation qualification and have experience of service desk environments. You will be communicating with key stakeholders throughout the business so excellent communication and interpersonal skills will also be essential.
On occasion you will be required to travel to their depots throughout the UK to provide support, and as such you must hold a full driving licence for use in the UK.
