Job Overview With a growing team and client base, Vyper is looking for a qualified addition to their senior management team to run and develop their client led marketing efforts in order to sustain revenue growth of 100% YOY. The primary areas of the role are: Taking full ownership of the acquisition of marketing budget from clients. Ensure budget under management is correctly spent to maximise ROI. Manage a team of 2 (and growing) catering for all their needs. The position will require the chosen candidate to take full ownership and responsibility of the digital marketing efforts at Vyper in order to drive sales for our clients and support aggressive growth targets. Key Responsibilities Budget Acquisition - Work with the account managers to acquire new budget for marketing activities from current clients. - Work with the sales team to pitch the marketing capabilities of Vyper. - Create detail marketing plans. Budget Management - Apportion funding to various marketing streams/functions, ensuring Vyper turns a profit from marketing activities. - Tracking marketing spend and adapting our approach to ensure ROI is at a maximum. - Work with Amazon/eBay marketing teams globally to ensure spend is being made correctly in order to boost ROI. Team - Manage a 2 and growing marketing team, catering for their daily, weekly and monthly needs. - Supervise output from both a quality and volume perspective. - Develop and supervise the marketing team, promoting training and best working practices. Mandatory Requirements Applicants who do not meet the below requirements will not be considered for the role: - 5 years minimum experience in a startup or small business environment. - 5 years minimum experience managing a team. - 5 years minimum experience in the digital marketing sector (not necessarily marketing products but would be a bonus). Core Skills Required - Management: high competency in both managing and growing a team of marketing/creative staff. - Cost Control: ability to manage costs and ensure they do not run out of control. - Planning: ability to plan campaigns and monitor them to ensure targets/milestones are hit. - Accuracy: absolute attention to detail, with a willingness to delve right into the detail regardless of how long it takes. - Communication: ability to communicate your strategy and vision clearly with all team members, both internally and externally. - Digital Capability: Experienced in developing tools and processes in digital marketing, covering PPC, SEO, AMS and Google Analytics. - Agile: being able to fit and work in a small unstructured business environment, understanding and utilising all the available resources to maximise results. - Creativity: Ability to think creatively and approach tasks in an independent unique way. - Microsoft office: Intermediate+ grasp of Excel and Word.
