The Role

We have an opportunity for a Group Accountant to join the business during a very exciting time for CLEAN.

Responsibilities will include:

·Completing the statutory accounts for the 8 individual CLEAN companies in line with the audit schedule.

·Completing the statutory accounts for the consolidated CLEAN group in line with the audit schedule.

·Managing the audit for the CLEAN group.

·Ensuring CLEAN group is aligned to changes in auditing, statutory and legal requirements.

·Assisting the external tax advisors with the preparation of tax computations for the CLEAN group.

·Being the primary lead with responsibility for all CLEAN group related matters.

·Completing the management accounts for the individual non-trading CLEAN companies in line with reporting deadlines.

·Completing full and accurate consolidated management accounts for the CLEAN group in line with reporting deadlines.

·Supporting any covenant reporting and required financial input.

·Liaising with external parties including auditors, banks, HMRC etc.

·Ad hoc projects involving the CLEAN group including reviewing the group structure for maximum efficiency and where appropriate, liquidating dormant or non-trading companies.

·Developing a PDP with the Finance Manager to meet personal, team, company and corporate objectives.

·Partnering with the business providing financial input and support where appropriate.

In summary, you must be a Qualified accountant or QBE with at least 5 years’ experience in the following areas;

·Current up-to-date UK GAAP and FRS 102 financial reporting knowledge

·Preparing standalone and consolidated statutory accounts

·Preparing corporation tax returns

·Preparing quarterly VAT returns

You should also have;

·Excellent IT skills (including use of all MS packages)

·Excellent communication skills

·Ability to work under minimum supervision

·Ability to work to tight deadlines

·Ability to problem solve

·A strong analytical mind

·A methodical, logical approach with good attention to detail

·A confident, positive and determined approach

·Flexibility and willingness to take on new tasks

·Professional approach to work

Knowledge of the hospitality industry and Netsuite Financials application would be also advantageous.
