Baltic Training and ITEC Support are delighted to be recruiting for an IT Support Apprentice to join their evolving team of technical experts based in Stroud, Gloucestershire.

ITEC provide a first class technical support desk, through a scalable and organic platform that will transform business requirements and the changing communications environment! As part of the IT Team, you will become an in-house IT expert; able and willing to not only support staff in the event of failure or system issues, but also in the tricks and tips of using their Microsoft products in every detail.

  • Providing First Line technical support
  • Dealing with customers both over the phone and progress to dealing with clients on site
  • Managing workload and developing good customer relationships
  • You will be liaising with members of the team and testing new applications, application improvement or bug fixes.
  • Assisting with other office-life related duties

Training to be provided:

  • Level 3 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence
  • Level 3 Advanced Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles
  • Networking Fundamentals
  • Mobility and Device Fundamentals
  • Cloud Fundamentals
  • Coding and Logic
  • Business Processes

Skills and Qualifications required:

  • Good communication skills and confident
  • A strong passion for IT
  • Good time keeping skills
  • Working within deadlines
  • Prioritising work load

The future is bright:
Upon completion of the Apprenticeship, there are real progression opportunities available. Along with your employer, you may decide to progress onto our Level 4 programme and take your training even further.

Salary, hours and benefits:

  • Monday - Friday
  • 9am - 5.30pm - 37.5 hours
  • £150 a week

Location and Travel:
This role is located in Stroud, Gloucestershire and just 1 mile away from Stroud Train Station. There are also regular bus services to and from the town.
