My client based in Central London is looking for a Fluent German Speaking Service Desk Analyst, both Windows and Mac, that is also fluent in English to join their team

  • To provide first and some second line IT support to the customer's international businesses
  • Ensure all problems and requests are recorded, monitored and resolved in a timely efficient manner
  • Take ownership of incidents
  • Ability to translate technical information into a language the customer can understand
  • The Service desk supports over 3000 internal employees
  • The Service Desk is made up mainly contractors and they need to replace one of them.
  • The successful applicant will be required to be versatile, prepared to work in a challenging work environment and open to new challenges
  • Great team environment

  • Proven track record of working in an IT support environment. PC hardware, Software and operating systems (i.e. Windows XP - moved to Windows 7 now so this is ideal

Mac experience would be an advantage.
  • Resolving the incidents, where possible, using predefined scripts, remote control software and the Knowledge Base to the customer's complete satisfaction.
  • Strong experience supporting Active Directory and Exchange 2003
  • MS Office, in particular, possessing excellent Outlook knowledge
  • Blackberry enterprise Activation & Sync issued
  • Scanning documents, Burning CDs and DVDs
