Are you a Junior BI Developer who wants to work for an award winning company who are the market leaders providing software for the health and social care sectors?

IF YES you be joining a highly talented Development team who support a wide range of solutions including scheduling, optimisation, electronic data capture (via landline telephone and mobile device) and pay and invoice calculation.

The Junior BI Developer will be an enthusiastic individual with a passion for SQL development and an understanding of Business Intelligence. The successful client will need a good understanding of relational databases and writing complex SQL queries.

My client will be looking to guide you through a mentor-lead, personal development plan, to help you progress and become a productive member of the team.

The successful candidate will work in a SCRUM environment and you will have a fantastic opportunity to gain experience and confidence in working in such methodology. It is important you have good interpersonal skills to work along side Quality Analysts, Product Owners and Software Developers.

Responsibilities of the Junior BI Developer;

• Work with the team to refine business requirements and break them down into user stories as part of an open, collaborative and cross-functional team.

• Develop high quality SQL stored procedures and present them to the end user via a reporting tool.

• Work closely with the Quality Analysts within the team to help ensure reports are delivered on time with high quality deliverables

The successful Junior BI Developer will need the following essential skills;

• Educated to degree level in relevant disciplines.

• Confident writing complex SQL queries.

• Good understanding of relational database schemas

• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

• Willingness to apply thorough test processes.


• Experience working with Business Intelligence Tools.

• Fundamental understanding of Agile software development.

• Knowledge of Data Warehousing.

• SQL query optimisation.

The Junior BI Developer can expect a competitive starting salary of £26,000 with great mentoring, development and learning opportunities.
