Primary Nursery Teaching Assistant for January 2018 start I am recruiting for a Nursery Teaching Assistant for a temporary contract at a Blackpool Primary School's childrens centre with a January 2018 start. The role involves working in the Nursery 9.00 am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Applicants must be prepared, experienced and able to support the Early Years development and learning. You will be required to use your teaching assistant or nursery nurse experience in EYFS and specifically Nursery. You will have strong subject knowledge and be adaptable to work within the school to support their schedule. You will be working in the nursery and foundation stage so you must have strong EYFS knowledge and be confident to deliver work to ensure development and to progress the children within the setting. The Primary School is a large school based in central Blackpool. Children at this school are encouraged to succeed and are guided to be successful leaners. The ideal candidate will follow this ethos and have a nurturing approach while giving children the independence to develop. This position is open to Qualified Teaching Assistants with proven relevant experience. Candidates must have: * Qualified Teaching Assistant Certificate to at least Level 3 * Experience within a nursery * Current experience within the classroom * Confidence to support EYFS * 100% commitment to the role and to the school * The ability to work within a team and adopt a whole school approach to learning * The passion to maintain the standards of the school following all policies * Proven performance in previous schools that is evident through references * Excellent behaviour management with proven strategies to reinforce positive behaviour * High expectations of pupil progress and development Posts are subject to two satisfactory references and an up to date DBS clearance.
