A great role fro a progressive Assistant Management Accountant/Management Accountant looking for a more all rounded position. The company are looking for a candidate to take on more responsibilities and grow into the role and move up in the company.

Client Details

The client is media/technology company who have enjoyed continuous growth. They are well known within their field and have many offices around Europe.


A successful candidate will be given duties which include:

  • Maintaining the books and records and the preparation of monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts for the Corporate Holding Entities.
  • Reporting of monthly results to Group for the Corporate Holdings Entities.
  • Agreeing intercompany balances with all Countries within the Organisation.
  • Liaising with Company Secretarial and Solicitors in respect of acquisitions and the issuance of shares and external debt.
  • Reporting of monthly results and submissions to Group.
  • Weekly and quarterly cash flow reporting.
  • Monthly CAPEX reporting for all Operational Entities.
  • Ad-hoc local and Group projects and process improvement.
  • Assistance in local projects and process improvement.
  • Contributing to the preparation of statutory financial statements.
  • Communication with queries from both local and Group Auditors.
  • Contributing to the coordination, preparation and consolidation of all UK Company annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
  • Preparation of the annual cash flow and CAPEX budgets.
  • Covering the Central Financial Controller whilst they are on annual leave or in periods of absence.
  • Assisting the local Controllers and operational business as and when required.


A successful candidate will have a similar profile to:

  • ACCA/CIMA - Part qualified and currently studying foundation or intermediate ACCA/CIMA.
  • Confident, personable and approachable.
  • An understanding and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure with an appreciation of the importance of deadlines.
  • Highly numerate with excellent English language skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Can work on own initiative.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Confident, personable and approachable.
  • Strong, excel and word skills general standard in Microsoft Office packages.
  • Desire to continue learning and to progress and develop the role.

Job Offer

A successful candidate will be offered:

£35,000 - £40,000
