The Role Working as part of the Etch Applications team, the primary responsibilities of this role will be to develop novel plasma etch technology. The role will involve developing laser grooving processes, creating user documents and best known methods. The role will also require carrying out hands-on etch process development and hardware testing. Additional responsibilities will include writing technical reports for both internal and external use, generating IP submissions and supporting other business units as required. This position may involve some international travel. Qualifications & Experience Applicants will ideally be educated to Masters/PhD level in either a chemistry or physics discipline. Applicants will have relevant experience of laser materials processing, experience of laser grooving would be advantageous.
