Project Manager - Financial Services - GDPR - Permanent Role

We are currently seeking a Project Manager for a leading Financial Services organisation based in Birmingham city centre, initially to focus on GDPR.

The Project Manager will be responsible for taking end to end responsibility for the delivery of complex projects or a small project portfolio, establishing and maintaining the correct structures to control and monitoring the deliverables to the business to realise the benefits as defined in the Business Case.

They will hold strong Project Management Delivery experience, understand the principles of decision discretion and is able to agree with sponsor the appropriate thresholds

The Project Manager will be proficient in the principles, methods, techniques and tools for the effective management of projects from initiation through to implementation. They will have experience in methodologies such as PRINCE2, APM, DSDM Atern or Scrum.

Experience of GDPR is highly desirable for this role.

The Project Manager will be required to work with HR to determine how training requirements can be met and be experienced in monitoring of budgets to minimise costs and ensure cost-effectiveness

They will ensure that they take account of customers' real and stated needs in the delivery of products and services, and ensure the appropriate selection and managing contracts to ensure that third parties adhere to agreed contract requirements
