This established, global software house seeks to hire a IT Support Analyst for an expanding client services IT support team in London. This team are the technology training incubation team within this business. There will be opportunities to move into development, business analysis, project management or financial analyst positions after an initial 12 month training program.

The client is an award winning provider of n-tier, innovative real-time trading solutions is expanding due to the continued success of their high performance real-time trading solutions the IT Support Analyst can gain experience working with this dynamic trading technology from day one.

Required Skills for the IT Support Analyst:

  • A degree (2.i or above) in a Computing, Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematical based subject
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of Windows Operation System or Unix Operating System
  • Scripting experience – Linux (Bash / Shell / Python / Perl) - Powersell
  • Desire to work within financial markets
  • Desire to work with electronic trading technology
  • Ability to work under pressure.
The IT Support Analyst will need to have a genuine passion for technology within the financial services sector and be looking to start their career within a company and role that encompasses all 3. This sits within the technology training incubation team and you will be expected to become a single point of contact to some of the groups most prestigious clients. This is a demanding IT Support Analyst position where you will be expected to progress quickly, and in return you will gain exposure to financial markets – Derivatives, Equities, Fixed Income and Foreign Exchange whilst working with a dynamic technology stack.
