Well renowned law firm is looking to hire a new Learning & Development Assistant to manage all administrative aspects of the L&D function and assist with project work within the team. Responsibilities will include scheduling all learning programmes, booking rooms and managing invitations, assisting the L&D Managers with all administrative tasks relating to off-site and residential training programmes, organising and managing the administration relating to development plan meetings and review briefings, managing the process of booking individuals on external courses, organising and managing one on one coaching, handling all queries relating to lawyer CPD, inputting day to day expenses for L&D related activity, preparing slides using PowerPoint, keeping records of course scheduling and lists of attendees, setting up AV equipment for all courses and meetings, managing the team’s Twitter feed, uploading learning resources on to the system and any other ad hoc duties as required. Candidates should possess excellent administrative and organisational skills and should be able to work well within a busy team. Strong Microsoft office skills are also required, as the ability to deal with internal and external clients across all levels of seniority. Standard hours are 9:30am to 5:30pm. Previous L&D experience is essential, preferably from a law firm or professional services company
