Electrical Maintenance Engineer – 6 Month Contract - £25p/h Ltd Co Monday to Friday – Afternoon Shifts – 13:30-22:30 – Based Hampshire – Immediate start Maintenance of a Process Plant – Motors / Drives / PLC Fault Find and Repair / Instrumentation / Probes / Breakers / Cabling etc This family owned and run business have been established for over ninety years and have diversified in that time to meet customer demand and have prospered in challenging economic conditions. One of their revenue streams in now in the manufacture of ingredients used in a variety of industries from food, farming, FMCG manufacturing and the pharmaceutical industries. They have been growing 10% year on year for the last five years and tatt trend looks set to continue. As a result we are looking to add to the maintenance team, initially on contract, but potentially on a temp to perm basis as well. What the role will involve: * Fault find to component level. * Experience with fault find and repair (FFR) on PLC’s (any make). * Support the mechanical maintenance engineers – helping them with belt and roller changes etc. * Pro-active – mainly reactive maintenance, but there is some PPM’s that need doing as well. * Working within the current maintenance team. * Working on some projects – replacing and upgrading equipment, suggesting potential improvements etc. What the company are looking for in the contractor: * Electrical maintenance experience. * Experience in a manufacturing environment – this could be any industry. * PLC knowledge – Fault find and repair. * Time served, apprenticed trained background. * Hands on, proactive! * Electrically biased – 70-80% of the role will be electrical maintenance.
