Epos Technical Engineer - Fixed Term Contract (until end of December 2018)

A major Food and Beverage chain is looking to appoint an Epos Technical Engineer on a Fixed Term Contract basis until the end of December.

This will sit in their fantastic offices in the heart of London. The company work in a very unique culture, with countless office amenities, all tailored to the enjoyment and productivity of the employees.

The role of Epos Technical Engineer will include the following:
  • Responsible for the implementation & build of the chosen Epos solution alongside the Epos team.
  • Support the wider department in post implementation 3rd line hyper-care.
  • Communication with the shop estate, project teams and key stakeholders throughout the project
  • Support each market to enable a smooth deployment
  • Adhere to all PCI council requirements across all markets, company security policies and industry best practices.
  • Work with 3rd party solution providers to resolve outstanding issues.What will the Epos Technical Engineer be required to have?
  • Experience supporting a range of Epos & Payment solutions ideally within a Retail, F&B or FMCG business.
  • Experience of Oracle Symphony & integrated payment solutions
  • Excellent understanding of key POS technologies & payment solutions across multiple platforms.
  • Demonstrable technical aptitude for, and experience supporting, client-server and web-based applications and SaaS solutions
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and persuade others.
  • Ability to work closely within a small team, with each member expected to take the lead and initiative dependent on the task and skill mix.
  • Effective at managing time and being responsible for individual milestones, project deadlines and sprint targets.

  • Experience of working in a global environment across international locations with an appreciation of multiple cultures.
  • Ability to solve and breakdown problems, then develop and implement plans to address the necessary short term and desired long term objectives.
  • Ability to document information for the relevant audiences.
