Barclays Collaboration Services Architecture and Engineering are responsible for the technology strategy, architecture, design and engineering for the products that underpin Collaboration Services. Designing Products and Services that support our colleagues to openly innovate, collaborate effectively and deliver in an agile way, through an evergreen and flexible ecosystem which constantly evolves to provide the required capabilities for Barclays.

Your role

The role will place you in a specialised Product team who will engineer strategic and production ready solutions for the Bank. As a product engineer you will at a minimum:

Act as an SME for technologies and products within scope

Ensure products are correctly configured in line with requirements and designs.

Deploy and configure lab infrastructure

Produce build and configuration artefacts that will lead to engineering standards

Creation of Engineering and Design documentation to enable

Essential skills

Demonstrable experience across a wide range of device & imaging technologies covering:
  • Physical W7/W10 desktop/laptop form factors
  • Thin Client Technologies, BYOD / CYOD Strategies
  • MDM & MAM Policies Intune/Mobile PIM/Productivity apps
  • Build Automation Frameworks, System Mgmt Tooling

Desirable Skills

  • Detailed working knowledge and experience of methodologies including: Lean & Agile (SCRUM), ITIL, MS Technology Stack Training
  • Ability to work with in a rapidly changing environment - where goals and objectives often change at short notice.
  • Having the confidence to determine your own objectives that fit within the wider team goals, rather than rely on being instructed all the time.
  • Working in an Agile environment
