Internal Audit Coordinator

£18,000 - £20,000

Monday - Friday - Core bsiness hours (08.30 - 6.00pm)

We are currently seeking an Internal Audit Coordinator to be part of a newly established Business Assurance team based within Resource Solutions' Global Service Centre supporting our client, The role is autonomous and challenging and will appeal to a self starter with the credibility and confidence to use their strong inter-personal skills to deal with sensitive information and communicate effectively with people across all business functions and corporate levels.

As an Internal Audit Coordinator your primary responsibility is to understand RS' contractual obligations with Our clients focusing on SLA and Resourcing Policy, understand requirements and responsibility per role time (in line with policy) and execute weekly, monthly and quarterly audit checks. The scope and nature of each audit can vary but the main priority is to make sure any issues that affect the prosperity of the business are appropriately addressed. You will therefore be required to support audit findings with resolution by onsite recruiters and then present your findings along with the proposed remediation to the Resourcing CoE Lead.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organise and carry out the internal audit function including the preparation of an audit plan, scheduling and completion of required tasks
  • Through the analysis of data and documentation received, assess whether procedures, policies and regulations are correctly followed
  • Prepare accurate, fact based reports that present findings in a clear, concise manner
  • Anticipate emerging issues as the audit lifecycle progresses and decide best approach to issue resolution, providing ad hoc advice and guidance to managers and staff throughout the audit lifecycle
  • Agree recommendations with relevant parties to make viable operational improvements
  • Provision of weekly reports and ad hoc control documents
Requirements:
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking
  • Strong organizational, planning and time management skills, able to deliver high quality work independently
  • Flexible approach with the ability to manage multiple projects within agreed timescales
  • Experience of preparing reports with a formal writing style preferred but not essential
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve objectives, team player approach
  • Knowledge of Excel, Word and Powerpoint
