UK leading manufacturer of food products and ingredients is now seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team. Well known for high quality and unique products this company has been experiencing stable growth for many years. As the successful Maintenance Engineer you would be responsible for a fast moving, high volume production plant and surrounding buildings. This is a very varied maintenance position with no 2 days being the same. Maintenance Engineer’s Main duties: ? Mechanical service, repair, replacement of: Motors, gearboxes, couplings, seals, pumps, valves, hydraulics, pneumatics etc. ? Electrical service, repair, replacement of: Motors, sensors, valves, control gear, VSDs, servos, instrumentation, power distribution systems, safety systems etc. ? Fault finding and rectifying breakdowns ? Understand and follow TPM, PPM,CBM,PM, TBM Methodology ? Suggest and complete Continuous Improvement Projects ? Proved technical support and training to operators To be considered for this Maintenance Engineers position it is essential that you be multi-skilled with an Electrical/Electronic bias and possess solid mechanical skills including welding. The ideal Engineer will come from a FMCG Environment with a solid understand of PLC controls, Robots and Board level repairs to drive systems though this is not essential.
