JOB TITLE: Project Manager LOCATION: Barrow, Cumbria SALARY/RATE AND BENEFITS: £45.00 PH LTD YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING: - CSCS Management card / SMSTS Card - IOSH or NEBOSH Certificate - Project Management Experience gained within a - Heavy Civil environment including, demolition & refurbishments. - Fully conversant with NEC Contracts, including early warnings & compensation events - The ability to fully cost & resource loads - Ability to confidently liaise with the client in a professional manner, and all other contractors involved in the project. - Asbestos Awareness ROLE INFORMAITON: The role of a Project Manager will include but not be limited to the following: -Provide support, advice and assistance to the Lead Project /Contracts Manager in respect to the day-to-day operations of the project both presently and in the future as detailed above - Responsibility of managing and coordinating Principal Contractor team; - Ensuring programmes are met and up to date -Responsible for the technical, financial, programming and performance aspects of the project and overall management of the site teams - Produce progress reports as required by the project - Use CEMAR and other systems as may be required for all contractual communications - Responsible for the implementation, monitoring and control of SHEQ governance in accordance with procedures and Client Requirements - Ensure compliance with the health and safety requirements of the project; most notably in respect to the Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015 - Ensure compliance with the environmental requirements of both the project itself and to internal minimal requirement of compliance with ISO 14001 - Co-ordination of health, safety, quality, planning and environmental issues internally, with the client and with any relevant third parties including contractors - Provide support, advice and assistance to the Lead Project /Contracts Manager in respect to strategic decision making in the areas of health, safety, quality & planning - Monitor and Coordinate Health, Safety and Quality - Lead any necessary in-house training, provide safety briefings, tool box talks to site staff - Liaising with client, client SHE departments and Principal Designer - Preparing of Construction Phase Plan, Traffic management Plan, Quality plans and ITP's and other associated Project deliverable documentation Since 1978, Rullion has been securing exceptional candidates for a range of clients; from large well-known brands, to SMEs and start ups.
