Senior Content Editor £34,625 per annum 35 hours per week Permanent London Parkinson's UK drives better care, treatments and quality of life. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and creative senior content editor to join Parkinson’s UK to develop, edit and publish high-quality content, with a strong emphasis on digital channels. You’ll supervise our content officer to manage the approval of website content and support our devolved network of staff and volunteer website contributors, through delivering training, creating processes and sharing knowledge. You’ll have a strong focus on using analytics and optimisation tools to continuously monitor and improve content across our website. You’ll have extensive experience of writing for the web, with proven ability to create accessible content that meets user needs. You'll have a strong understanding of digital best practice across multiple channels - what works and what doesn't work for our audiences, and how to explain this to other people. You'll be used to making firm editorial decisions and negotiating with content contributors to agree the best approach. You will know how to make sure content is optimised for search engines, and you'll be used to working to brand and best practice guidelines. With strong editorial skills and excellent attention to detail, you’ll have experience of creating and approving compelling content across digital and non-digital channels. You’ll have experience managing content projects of all sizes, and you’ll be highly organised and effective at prioritising workload in a busy environment. You’ll have experience of using analytics and optimisation tools. You'll know how to use what you find to make sure we're always improving our website content.
