35 hours per week (some weekends/evenings may be required) About the role We are looking for an exceptional individual to become a key member of our management team as the Facilities Manager.  You will take primary responsibility for the safe and effective operation of all facilities within Focus Birmingham by leading and supporting the implementation of health and safety guidelines and its policies and procedures.  The successful candidate will manage the maintenance of our equipment and services including our conference, meeting and activity facilities.  As an excellent communicator you will coordinate our service contractors and suppliers ensuring all our services are safe, compliant, effective and efficient. You will have responsibility for maintaining and managing the process to identify and investigate all incidents, documenting and making recommendations to the management team. This is an excellent opportunity for an existing Facilities Manager or someone with the relevant experience to become an important part of the team to ensure our facilities and services are the best they can be for our service users, staff and visitors. About us Focus Birmingham is a specialist charity providing expert support, advice and information to anyone in the Birmingham area affected by sight loss or other disabilities, and because sight loss and disability affects family, friends and carers, we work with them too.
