IT Training Manager - Birmingham - £40-55,000 + car + bonus + pension + medical A national organisation with 7 regional offices is looking for an IT Training Manager to join their HQ in Longbridge, Birmingham. The position will be responsible for successful delivery of all IT training (including hardware, software & business process) on an ongoing basis and as part of projects. You will conduct in planning, procuring & delivering training to all IT users. As the company grows and invests, internal training support will also need to build expert knowledge of their core business software. There is also a requirement to analyse IT service desk logs to identify areas where lack of training & awareness is impacting users and put in place training and/or measures to address this. Training support will be provided via a number of channels such as classroom-based training, eLearning, floorwalking and 1-2-1 desk-side visits. You will be accountable for providing the right blend of these to optimise the use of your time and resources & use of external training providers, whilst minimising the impact on staff time. There will be some travel within the UK involved. Essential Experience: * Extensive experience of performing an IT training role in a professional environment * Proven ability to analyse training needs to define and adapt an appropriate approach to meet those needs * Extensive experience of devising and delivering a programme of training activities that utilise a range of different channels, including classrooms, eLearning, written material, floorwalking and 1-2-1s * Extensive experience of delivering Microsoft Windows, Office and SharePoint related support/training * Experience of consumerisation and mobile related technologies that allow users to access business applications and/or productivity tools on mobile devices.
