An exciting opportunity has come up with a global leader within the aautomotive industry. Over time, they have gained an excellent reputation for innovation and quality and they are now looking to add to their team by recruiting a number of Systems Engineers to join their ADAS team.

The ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) team develops complex and innovative systems such as Traffic Jam Pilot, Remote Parking, Autonomous Driving and more using the latest technologies, such as cameras, radars, ultrasonic sensors and LiDARs.

We are looking for multiple Systems Leads, Systems Engineers and Sub-Systems Engineers.

Responsibilities - Define the functions and interactions that compose the system through functional, non-functional and functional safety requirements (F-SRD).
- Liaise with the Architects to translate the logical design into a physical design (at vehicle level) compatible with the Electrical Vehicle Architecture.
- Liaise with the Validation and Verification team for the definition of the DVM and DVP.
- Complete the System Quality deliverables at logical and physical level and translation of the outcome in the System specification.
- Complete the Functional Safety deliverables.
General Skills
To be successful, you'll come to this role with a mixture of skills such as knowledge in Systems Engineering within the automotive industry (or equivalent e.g. transportation, aerospace etc.), problem solving skills (understanding of 5Ds, 5Whys, etc.), an understanding of legal compliance, strong communication/presentation skills and quality methods (eg. DFMEA).

Systems Engineer Skills - MBSE and SysML
- System Architecture design
- Requirements capture, design and management
- Functional safety (eg. ISO26262)
- Vehicle and Module Validation concepts
Subsystem Engineer Skills - Knowledge of External Sensing sensor or ECUs
- Knowledge of Electronics and Hardware behaviour and integration
- Understanding of software development and delivery
- Exposure to logical, physical system architectures, functional and non-functional requirements design
- Knowledge of Diagnostic system strategies and implementation
Systems Lead- Most of the criteria for the previous roles (especially system engineer)
- Exposure to delivering innovative and complex distributed system
- Project Management or Team Management
Systems Engineers - up to 47,000
ADAS Systems Engineer - up to 60,000
