We are seeking a dynamic, creative and ambitious PR Manager to join the Communications Team at Scope and drive our media relations strategy. About the role As we move forward in our mission to achieve everyday equality for disabled people, media profile and output will be vital in communicating our purpose and vision to the public in a powerful way. Join us to help us achieve social change. You will lead Scope’s day-to-day press activity, continuing to build on our ever-increasing national media coverage. You will be responsible for line managing the PR team. This is an exciting and varied role, which will involve working closely with teams across the charity, to raise awareness of disability and the Scope brand, and push forward our commitment to increase the number of disabled people in the media. About you The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully developing and implementing national PR campaigns and a strong understanding of the UK media. You’ll be an excellent communicator, proactive with the ability to make things happen and have the confidence to build strong working relationships inside and outside the organisation. Line management experience is also desirable. Experience working for a charity is desirable, though not essential.
