Harris Global are currently recruiting for a leading client based in Luton looking to bolster their cyber security capability.

The Security Manager is primarily responsible for managing and developing the ongoing compliance auditing for all operational contracts to ensure they meet compliance objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Security Management.
  • Ensure delivery and maintenance of all Security Management policies and processes, ensuring good industry practice for the delivery all obligations, including maintenance of all existing standards and accreditations.
  • Provide Security Management advice as part of contractual obligations or incremental work sold to existing customers
  • Act as main point of contact for Security Management queries.
  • Undertake training to operational delivery staff on Security Management policies and procedures.
  • Pre-Sales Support.
  • Undertake Due Diligence on potential customers’ Security Management regime to inform further sales activities.
  • Existence of Security Management policies and processes as required by ISO and other standard accreditations, including those required for customer compliance
  • Successfully carry out internal and external audits of Security Management processes and policies
  • Delivery to time and quality of customer requirements

Skills, knowledge and abilities:

  • Previous experience of Security Management regimes and approaches
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to apply methodical and logical approach to Problem solving
  • Ability to inspire co-operation and co-ordinate activities across teams, with emphasis on stakeholder working
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Local Authority compliance requirements
  • Knowledge of Problem Solving techniques
  • Effective relationship management
  • Articulate – excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written) with impact and clarity
  • The ability to manage time and priorities to best effect
  • Commitment to providing high-quality propositions and meeting deadlines
  • Knowledge of case management regimes and ITIL processes
  • Operating within an ISO 27001 accredited environment
