The company

You will be working for an independent and innovative business which is highly focused on meeting and exceeding customer needs. Products are shipped all over the globe supplying wholesalers, distributors, retailers and hotels with a wide selection of frozen and ambient goods.

The job

The business is looking for a new Sales Manager to join their growing sales team. The majority of the client base is located in the Middle East, as the first point of contact, you will professionally represent the company ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. You will manage the customer portfolio, identify new sales opportunities, ensure achievement of quantified targets, advise on competitor activity, provide comprehensive sales support, negotiate sales proposals and actively monitor sales activity of the portfolio by compiling regular reports on results.

Your experience

To be considered for the Sales Manager role, you will be educated to a degree level or equivalent, have sales management experience plus possess a good understanding and experience of sales processes. Previous experience of working within food manufacturing or FMCG distribution will be highly advantageous. Excellent communications and telephone skills plus the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders is necessary in this role as is continuously striving to increase sales, efficiency and development of new products to aid sales.

The Sales Manager job is based in the West Midlands region and is paying up to £25,000 according to individual skills and previous experience. The working hours are Monday to Friday, office hours.
