Our client is a leading publishing and digital business and they are looking for an outgoing Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their finance team. The successful individual will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role and be a strong team-player with a high attention to detail. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to gain exposure in a dynamic and fast-paced environment at a well-known brand.

- Responsibility and ownership of up to two ledgers.
- Ensure that all invoices are processed accurately, including scanning, checking and inputting details.
- Perform weekly BACS and Cheque payment runs.
- Deal with any queries from suppliers and internal clients around following up late payments and outstanding invoices.
- Reconcile supplier statements and maintain the supplier database accordingly.
- Process employee expenses.
- Liaise with managers across the business for invoice approval.

- Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role processing invoices.
- Would suit an AAT studier.
- Strong ability to use accounting systems.
- Excellent communication skills and enjoy working within a team.
- An eye for detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Hard-working and a problem-solver.
- Good organisational skills.
