NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Falls and Osteoporosis Service provides a range of services to people at risk of falling and with a diagnosis of osteoporosis including physiotherapy assessments in a variety of settings (eg falls clinics, home assessments) and intervention in the form of community strength and balance classes. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, senior physiotherapist to fulfil a secondment of 18.75hrs for 6 months duration at Band 7 level, working in conjunction with the existing Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist to provide leadership to the physiotherapy team, and specialist care to this specific client group. The role of the Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist will include specialist, direct clinical care to community dwelling patients with a history of falls and/or osteoporosis, and as such it is essential that interested candidates should be fully qualified Physiotherapists who are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and have substantial minimum experience, including relevant experience at Senior level.
