I would like to speak with candidates who have extensive experience accurately producing multiple complex payrolls within an accountancy practice environment. Experience should include a strong technical understanding of payroll processes within various specialist areas, possess up to date legislation knowledge, be comfortable with the responsibility for the day to day administration of complex multiple client payrolls without supervision including RTI submission, auto enrolment and pension administration.
The successful candidate with be professional in their approach, demonstrate superb interpersonal skills, excellent attention to detail and have the ability to continually provide a first class service to their portfolio of clients. Crucially important is the ability to prioritise workload with a clear understanding of the importance of working to tight deadlines in a fast paced role.
