Digital E-Commerce Business Analyst Background Our client is a major Automotive Manufacturer. The landscape of how cars are sold, owned, used and serviced/supported is changing dramatically. As part of this transformation, we are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with previous history of E-Commerce implementations particularly within a distributed outlet type environment i.e Shops/Showrooms etc Key components of the role Collaborate with internal stakeholders to:- • Determine, shape and clarify business (commercial, operational and technical) requirements • Apply appropriate priorities with linked business benefits to business requirements • Formally document and agree sign off of business requirements. • Identify and document new/ updated business processes required to support Online Sales and Support • Agree acceptance criteria to validate business requirements against provided solution • Manage agreed scope and professionally handle scope creep through change requests and backlog management Process Mapping:- • Capturing business requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops and and relationship development. • Bringing challenge and insight, in a supportive manner, to the business in designing it’s To Be business processes. • Design and documentation of To Be processes with clear and detailed process maps and business requirements through tools such as Nimbus, Business Process Modelling, Visio or equivalent Stakeholder and External Partners:- • Liaise with external suppliers, partners and team members • Remove ambiguity and add clarity to discussions • Act as proxy product owner in answering queries and questions • Co-ordinate the quality validation of the provided solution against agreed business requirements Work in close partnership with the Project Manager and Product Owner to:- • Identify and document opportunities, risks and issues • Gain agreement from senior stakeholders when key decisions are required • Document support processes and clarify SLAs • Apply appropriate internal governance processes within the delivery life-cycle Required Skills and Experience Mandatory (M) and Desirable (D) • At least 5-8 years’ experience as a Senior BA (M) • At least 3 experience working within an E Commerce environment (M) • Strong understanding of business process mapping principals including process analysis and process improvement based on a recognized methodology and how these are applied to process design and development (M) • Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate effectively at all levels within an enterprise and will exyernal suppliers (M) • Automotive sector experience (D) Person attributes • Strong attention to detail is key • Very strong relationship management • Ability to work in a fast changing and fast paced environment is essential, as is the ability to adapt, embrace and manage change. • Confident and Proactive • Have a flexible can do attitude. • Is a team player – Effectively communicates designs, plans, timescales and challenges within the team i.e. Knowledge Share. • Self motivated– demonstrates the ability to work alone to ensure tasks are managed effectively. • Uses own initiative – proactive in suggesting ideas and approaches. Able to work without detailed guidance. • Meets deadlines and timescales – Demonstrate ability to meet deadlines for and milestones set by the client Additional Infomation • Ideally we are looking for candidates that live no further than 1 hours travel from SL6 (Maidenhead) • Some flexible home working may be accommodated • Some European travel may be required but will be minimal
