About the Role A thriving Junior School in Brent are actively seeking to recruit an experienced Intervention Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP until July 2018. Your role will be to assist the class teacher in identifying students who need additional support during Literacy and Numeracy sessions. You will then conduct intervention/ booster sessions to assist pupils in reaching set targets and grades. The intervention sessions will be non-class based and you will take groups of up to 5 children. The Headteacher is looking for a positive and hardworking individual who has a proven track record of raising attainment through excellent differentiation. You will work closely with your class teacher to ensure all teaching and learning requirements are being met. Requirements for the Role: The successful applicants will demonstrate excellent levels of Literacy and Numeracy skills to help pupils reach their potential. Experience conducting intervention sessions/ booster groups favourable along with candidates who are educated to a degree level. Rate of Pay and Working hours £70 - £80 per day depending on experience, working hours of 08.30am - 16:00pm You must have recent and a minimum of six months experience working in primary schools. This experience must be relative to this role.
