2nd Line Deskside Support Engineer

£20,000 - £23,600

Role overview:

2nd Line Deskside Support Engineer role based in Swindon - for this role, you will be working within one of the largest IT providers in the world, allowing you the opportunity to gain access to a large library of training courses and accreditation's to help further your skills and development.

As a highly customer-focused 2nd Line Deskside Support Engineer you will help to provide deskside support / remote support to resolve IT issues. You will be part of a team of 4, supporting the Swindon site, and provide ad-hoc support to other campuses in the UK.

2nd Line Deskside Support Engineer skills:
  • Networking and Telecoms background.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • TCP/IP, DNS, network protocols and best practices.
  • Cisco / Aruba hands-on experience in a LAN / WAN environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft operating systems such as Windows 7, 8.1 and windows 10.
  • Office & VPN.
