Teaching Personnel are working closely with a client school that are looking to recruit a Year 5 Teacher to start in January 2018. The school is a larger than average Primary school based in South Liverpool. The school have a teacher going off on maternity leave and have a need for a Year 5 Teacher. It was graded 'Good' in its last Ofsted report and by the end of Year 6, standards in mathematics are high and in reading and writing are above average. Pupils' progress from their various starting points is outstanding in mathematics and good in English. Teaching is consistently good across the school, with some that is outstanding. The Year 5 class consists of 26 pupils from varying backgrounds and mixed ability. There are2 pupils in the class with additional needs however; there is 1 Teaching Assistant in place to offer support and guidance throughout the placement. The school are looking for someone with experience working in Key Stage 2 within the last 12 months. The Ofsted reports states that the leadership of the school has drastically improved. The way that the school works with parents, and the quality of care and support provided for pupils, are also outstanding features of the school's work.
