About the role We are looking for an ambitious individual with extensive 1st line support experience to join our ICT team, based at our Head Office in Ringwood. You will maintain and support the systems that allow the business to function and communicate, both internally and externally on a daily basis. Reporting into the Network Engineer you will be responsible for network administration including backup, user account management, e-mail systems and internet access. Supporting the management IT security systems, such as the corporate firewall and access control systems, upgrading and troubleshooting networks are all part of this varied role. We are now embarking on the delivery of our ICT Improvement Plan covering a range of opportunities that include refreshing our core infrastructure, delivering greater value from our main business systems and improving the policies, processes and standards that we utilise to deliver ICT services to the wider business. This is a full time vacancy; the hours of work are Monday to Friday, 9am – 5.30pm Monday to Thursday and Fridays 9am – 5pm. About you You will be a knowledgeable and ambitious support engineering professional with experience of software, hardware and other specialisms such as Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Windows Server. DHCP ;DNS, as well as knowledge of setting up remote access for users and the ability to support network printers and photocopiers. It would also be desirable if you have previously worked with Cloud based e-mail management software (especially Mimecast) and Document management systems. You will be able to multi-task, be highly organised with a high attention to detail. You will also have a strong analytical approach to problem solving and be able to effectively deal with external suppliers.
