Marketing & Events Executive This varied position may be ideal for someone with a CIM certificate, an events/hospitality qualification or equivalent experience of working in a Marketing and events role, either client or agency-side. This job is offered as a full time, permanent role. The role • Plan, co-ordinate, market & deliver Creed-led events (e.g. Supplier Trade show), and external exhibitions to generate new leads, grow existing customer accounts and support supplier engagement calendar by showcasing product range and proposition. • Manage the planning, production and print of the annual product guide including liaising with suppliers/advertisers. • Preparation of creative, digital and written content for use across all channels, ensuring content and images are entered correctly into the CMS and optimised for SEO and social media. • Assisting in the creative input, production and print of marketing collateral and sales aids • Briefing external marketing agencies, product suppliers and venues as well as internal departments via verbal or written communication/presentations/briefs • Carrying out regular market, competitor and product research • Use of CRM as required • Support ongoing loyalty schemes • Organising, attending and overseeing product photoshoots • Sourcing merchandise for use across the business • General management and stock keeping of marketing literature and item The Person • CIM certificate, an events qualification or equivalent experience working in a Marketing/Events role, either client or agency-side. • Demonstrable experience of event planning and execution within time, budget and in line with objectives, including the marketing of events to attract target footfall. • Experience and competence in both traditional and digital marketing methods for events and other marketing initiatives, as well as ROI measurement. E.g. email Marketing, web analytics, mailchimp or similar, CMS updates and social media. • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders, as well as high levels of the organisation. • A self-starter, able to work autonomously, with strong attention to detail, able to meet deadlines and takes pride in work produced. • Good commercial understanding and the ability to learn and develop new skills and processes. • A keen interest in food. • High level of computer literacy, including MS windows suite The successful applicant can look forward to an exciting and challenging role so a desire to embrace new challenges will be very important Our client, based in Gloucestershire, is an established, growing and profitable business. Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week but flexibility is required as some events will run outside the normal office hours.
