A leading international law firm are looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Executive to join their fantastic Birmingham-based office.

This varied and demanding role will primarily involve:

  • Identifying opportunities through media and online sources and ensuring these are logged accordingly

  • Client liaison including follow up and debriefing

  • Presentation planning and preparation

  • Support and participation in training sessions including business development best practice

  • Team support and mobilisation

  • Coordination of tender responses including PQQ responses, proposals, fee quotations and ITT submissions

  • Contributing to bank of precedent text

    As a confident and proactive team player, the successful applicant will require the following skills and attributes:

  • Experience in managing project-specific and full-service tenders and proposals

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work to tight deadlines

  • Ability to communicate at all levels both written and verbally

  • Good understanding of financial models and tender scoring mechanisms alongside basic numeracy skills and Excel knowledge

  • Strong commercial awareness

  • Attention to detail with a methodical approach
