Senior Hardware Engineer Broadcast West Yorkshire Permanent Position £50,000-£55,000 +Benefits Role Responsibilities You will participate in a number of projects that involve a mixture of hardware specification /design/development, schematic capture/layout, validation and manufacture of products & test-equipment for the Digital TV and Broadcast Industry. You will work as part of a team reporting to a Group-Leader or Project Manager, but will have considerable exposure to our clients and other partners. It is essential that you have the ability to understand and communicate complex issues clearly. You must have a working knowledge of modern development tools and related engineering infrastructure. Essential Skills * Knowledge of high volume consumer electronic design, validation, approval and analysis * The ability to lead a project team and manage customer expectations * Knowledge of analogue & digital electronics design * Excellent problem solving and analytical skills * Strong hardware debug ability using high speed oscilloscopes, logic analysers and other standard test equipment with a good understanding of measurement and calibration issues * The ability to use the relevant tools to model, simulate, design and create schematic & PCB files * The ability to design a complete hardware solution with due consideration for the mass production process and deliver prototype quantities How to APPLY:- If you are interested in finding out more about this opportunity, please submit your CV via the link provided and I will contact you shortly for a confidential discussion.
