Our client an online technology company in the heart of tech community who regularly host meetups for Data Insights, DevOps Cambridge. They are looking for a Visualisation Engineer with a keen interest in graphics.

Day to day, you will be working with the rest of the crew to bring the quality of their visualisations to the next level. You will work closely with the Tech Lead, implement new features, and test and release the new iteration of our Visualisation Service. You will be involved in discussion on best practice and will take part in code review to ensure quality and learning throughout the crew

Responsibilities:
  • Implementation, documentation & testing of new graphic features (C#, C++, shaders)
  • Adding endpoints to RESTful APIs.
  • Development of internal tools
  • Tests and releases our Visualisation Server
  • Ticketing work and helping with time estimates, and keeping team mates up to date with progress
  • Helping with roadmaps and feature planning


Technical Skills
  • Programming skills in an Object Oriented language is preferable
  • Some experience with graphics (OpenGL, DirectX, or a game engine like Unity)
  • You take ownership of processes and show confidence that you can better them.
  • You are interested in new technology
