Claims Manager - Property Dept.
to £30,000 dep. on skill set and experience

An opportunity to join a leading service provider to the UK insurance sector. Our client offers a diverse range of solutions and services to insurers, brokers and underwriting agencies, including claims management, compliance & regulation, Back office support, capacity & underwriting management, customer service experience etc.

This role will be based in the company HQ in Stoke on Trent. You will lead two teams of 10 property claims handlers and manage all aspects of the claims cycle to ensure claims are handled in accordance with the clients requirements.

You will take ownership for individual performance, manage work flow, lead client relationship management, monitor payments, ensure compliance, instigate improvements to systems & processes and take the lead in creating a positive and professional working environment.

Team leadership and people management skills are essential.

It would also be highly desirable if candidates possessed some technical knowledge of claims handling, as then you will be able to oversee the progress of more complex and high value claims from a technical perspective.
