We are currently Recruiting for an Instrument & Electrical Engineer to work with our client based in Billingham on a 6 month contract basis. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will include the following (but not limited to): • Assist in the co-ordination and reporting of all engineering and design activities engineering and design, materials management, cost and planning and construction • Assist in the preparation and development of project specifications, drawings, documentation, procurement enquiries, tender documentation and purchase orders • Lead the review and approvals process for all drawings and specifications prior to release for fabrication or construction • Coordinate the technical aspects of construction and provide technical advice where requested • Assist in the technical interpretation of pressure testing requirements, for overviewing any analyses of test water and for assisting in the interpretation of results • Participate in key design and safety studies The successful candidate will: • Be chartered or pursuing an accredited career path to chartership via the InstMC or the IET • Have a background in plant automation (instrumentation, electrical requirements, PLC/DCS/SCADA systems) • Basic knowledge of maintaining industrial plant • Be aware, if not accustomed with the following industrial standards; • EEMUA-191; Alarms for industrial application • BSEN62682; Alarms management • IEC61131; automated systems coding standards • ISA80; Batch control/implementation • Familiarity with the following would be advantageous; • DSEAR / COMAH / ATEX • CompEx approved would be advantageous FULL JOB DESCRIPTION IS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST
