Oakland Village is looking for a professional and approachable person to be the initial contact point for visitors and tenants at Oakland Village. The role provides a key point of contact for customers and visitors to the Restaurant, bar or function rooms as well as directing to residential areas of the building. You will be responsible for ensuring building security while providing a welcoming and professional reception service. Experience of working with the public is desired and you will have experience of working on reception or in a customer service related role. The role will also require a high level of competency in the use of ICT along with excellent written and verbal skills as you will be required to keep accurate and up to date records. Knowledge of health and safety would be advantageous as you will be required to ensure health and safety is adhered to at all times and compliant with policies and procedures. Our reception/staff works on a rota basis and provide cover from 8 or 9 am to 11pm over 7 days and this position will be to cover sickness and annual leave. Ideally we are looking for someone who is happy to work on an as and when required basis. Flexibility and filling in at short notice would also be a considerable asset
