Jackson Hogg are working with a well established business who design, develop and deliver IT solutions, services and strategies to a range of clients across the UK.

The Pre-Sales Consultant will sit between the Technical and Commercial teams to project manage sales opportunities from discovery phase through to proposal delivery. Taking responsibility for the ownership and creation of technical solutions to best meet the needs of clients is a key part of the role.
  • Take on principal responsibility for pre-sales consulting
  • Technical authoring specific to the opportunity
  • Accountable for the accuracy of technical and labour budgets
  • Co-ordinate cross team resource to provide accurate work estimates and to develop and communicate customer proposals with the appropriate level of sales message
  • Work closely with other team members, providing guidance and assisting in providing, facilitating and being in charge of quality within the technical deliverable
  • Keep abreast of changes and opportunities in the technology market
  • Work effectively with the Infrastructure Team Leader to agree technical designs and approaches
  • Work closely with vendors in order to form partnerships aligned to our core deliverables, and where necessary bring in 3rd party associates to facilitate the solution
  • Time management and self-organisation skills
  • Working away from home may be required
  • You must possess a full UK driving license and have suitable transport with business insurance

The ideal candidate will have a deep level of IT knowledge and an ability to express this knowledge in terms appropriate to the audience which includes client senior executives, managers and end-users.
